That one, actually might be a dyke spot most of the time. As I understand it, it's in Boyle Heights and is a little dive that caters to dykes. However, I heard about this bar years ago and haven't heard anything since. Might be defunct, so definitely them before you go. Boyle heights is a rough neighborhood (and I don't say that lightly), so go with a sense of adventure and shoes you can run in if needs be. (remember, it's Wednesdays only) Now if you're feeling more "l-wordy" than that, you can check out the weekly L-word screenings at the Falcon, which is in (I'm heading West from downtown). This is the kind of bar where you need to be on a list to get in. However, if you go early enough and chat with (the woman who runs the club), she'll let you in.
